Kayak Experience

Great War Island sits at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers in Belgrade, a triangular nature preserve home to 196 bird species, many of them endangered. Its centrepiece is the Veliki Galijas canal, now a lake and vital bird and fish spawning habitat. This kayak tour departs from boat Barakuda at the river confluence, paddling up toward Lido beach on the island's northern tip — offering a breathtaking and entirely different perspective of the beautiful Belgrade skyline from the water.
